Fine Art

My fine art work ranges from hanging wall pieces to table top work. It is mostly centered on the exploration of the human form and mainly the face. I find great pleasure in taking the familiar and distorting it into something new and unsettling.

I pull inspiration from human anomalies as well as religion and the occult. I am drawn to the rich often opulent colors and textures that populate those worlds and do my best to bring them into to my work with the use of layered glazes and often gold luster.

I also find how each piece will be displayed very important. I tend to create piece that hang on the wall rather than sitting on a shelf or on the floor (although, an unexpected piece on the floor is a delight). While space is often limited, there is usually a bit of wall, however small that is dying for some art.

Please contact me for additional information or to inquire about a specific piece.
